1960s Photo Gallery

The first of two photographs from 1962 submitted by Roy Abrahams shows two cruisers moored at an unknown location, but presumably taken from a bridge. The cruiser on the right is “Goldcrest VII”.

The famous passenger boat “The Golden Galleon”, a familiar sight on the River Yare for many years, pictured c1967.  This ex-military Fairmile B motor torpedo boat lay at Reedham for many years but was sadly broken up in 2006.  The first of two photos from Keith Carter.
