The steel hulled “Lady Carron” from Breydon Marine moored at Great Yarmouth in 1971.

H.E.Hippersons old yard at Beccles pictured in 1971. The yard later moved and houses were built on this site.

One of Astons boats moored just down from their new yard at Beccles in 1974. Darby’s timber yard, behind, has since been replaced by housing.

Bell Boats “Aquabell” moored at Wroxham in 1973 where the Hotel Wroxham now stands. Ernest Collins yard can be seen on the right.

The coaster “Helena Jayne” passes through Reedham in the mid 1970s. This boat apparently sunk off the coast of Portsmouth in 1996 thankfully with no loss of life.
