The famous passenger boat “The Golden Galleon”, a familiar sight on the River Yare for many years, pictured c1967.  This ex-military Fairmile B motor torpedo boat lay at Reedham for many years but was sadly broken up in 2006.

The Bure Court Hotel at Wroxham c1960. At this time bed and breakfast accommodation at the hotel cost around 22 shillings (just over £1) per person per night. Submitted by Gordon Parker whose memories of Broadland holidays in the 1950s and 1960s can be found here.
