The famous passenger cruiser “Golden Galleon” pictured in 1955.  This was an ex-Royal Navy FairnileB  (ML-162) which carried thousands of passengers over the years that it operated from Great Yarmouth.

The crew of “Fairwind 1” enjoy an evening in The Lord Nelson 1956.

Another picture taken inside the Lord nelson. Ron remembers that he and his crew would often have a “sing-song” in the Broadland pubs if a piano was present, encouraging locals and other holidaymakers to join in.
