“Swabbing down” at Coltishall in 1958.

Ken and Bill set off in the dinghy to find a post box at Horning.

Mooring spots at Ranworth were as hard to secure in 1958 as they are today! The crew mudweight on a very busy Malthouse Broad.

How Hill pictured in May 1958.

“Vesta 11” moored in front of what is believed to be Turf Fen Mill on the River Ant at How Hill. The mill was built c1875 and ceased working during the 1920s, falling into a severe state of disrepair over the following years. Between 1976 and 1986, The Norfolk Windmill Trust restored Turf Fen to it’s former glory, fitting a new cap and sails.
