Another three of Richardsons cruisers moored at Horning in 1965. Broadsventure 12
is on the left, next are two of Richardsons new builds of that year -

S14 “Merlin 4”, also from Richardsons, thought to be moored at Horning Ferry Inn.

T418 “Baltimore 2” from Moores of Wroxham, pictured on the River Bure at Horning. The boat sheds in the background were then part of the Norfolk Holiday Boats yard but were previously H.C. Banham’s. The site is now occupied by the Norfolk Broads Yachting Company.

A658 “Finewind 5” from Windboats of Wroxham, also pictured on the River Bure at Horning.

B790 “Brinks Ricarda” pictured at her home yard of Brinks at Wroxham. This 6/7 berth
cruiser was a top of the range boat in the mid 1960s -

W.K. Barnes yard at Wroxham in 1965. The first two boats moored in the shed are Y799 “Queen Jayne” and Y798 “Queen Margaret”.

The final photograph from 1965 was taken early morning at the Bridge Inn moorings at Acle. T495 “Broadsventure 12” can be seen moored in the foreground. Broadsventure 12 is now back in the hands of the Richardson family, after several years of private ownership, and is currently undergoing full restoration at Stalham.
