1950s Reedham mystery man

In the previous post I mentioned the fact that there are many unidentified faces within the photographs on the main Broadland Memories website, and how there are some real characters amongst them who I would love to be able to put a name to.

I thought I’d take the opportunity to make another appeal for information regarding the gentleman seen in the photographs below which were taken at Reedham in the mid 1950s. The first was taken by the Bell family in 1955 and shows the mystery man posing with a yachting party outside the Lord Nelson public house. The second was taken by Ron Harrison in 1956 and shows the same chap inside the Lord Nelson pub. Who was he? Was he the pub landlord or just a colourful local character? If you can provide a name, or any other information about him, then please do get in touch.
